“The walker doesn’t raise very high, but my son is 30 inches tall and 10 months old, he still has some time before he’s too tall for it and I’m sure he’ll be walking on his own by then. The seat isn’t easy to remove for cleaning, but the material is very durable and washes well in the washing machine. The removable tray is great because baby is always snacking and making a huge mess. Also, the tray is large enough that baby won’t have his hands over the edge and smash his fingers, also he can’t reach as much stuff to get into.
If your baby runs into your ankles, you’re going to be in a lot of pain! I feel that’s inevitable no matter what you buy. This walker rolls very well on our tile floors. “I have 5 kids and I’ve used 2 walkers before this one that I loved but they got old and we used them outside, etc. We bought the princess walker. The toy trays are definitely challenging to get on, they require a bit of force that you would think is too much for plastic but it’s not. The seat is very nice and large to where my 5 month old baby who is not yet interested in really getting those legs moving can sit upright without falling over. My baby is in the 99th percentile for height and I am very happy with the height and adjustment level, she can reach the floor now and we have room to grow.
One thing for sure is that the ease of rolling and maneuvering with this one is fantastic compared to my other walkers, and this one is much less bulky then my others too. The toys are great, very entertaining and fun without being a hot mess of activity. On my other walkers you had to remove the activity tray completely in order to add some Cheerios or puffs or a juice cup to it, I guess it’s nice that now we can just spin them out and away from the tray, I guess I like that better. “The Fisher-price zebra walker has been great and the price couldn’t be beat! We got this when our little guy was about 6 months old, so we aren’t actually using it as a “walker” yet, but more of just a toy (for now). “My baby was starting to crawl and pull up a little, so I decided to get him this walker. It arrived in pieces to put together, which my oldest son did easily. We let the baby try it and he did a few steps at first. So we took him upstairs and he started doing laps with it. On carpet it rolls great and is not to fast. It does not have anything to slow it. However as you know a baby is not just going to walk on carpet. Every time he got on the tile floor it had zero traction and would slide wildly and baby went down… sometimes completely backwards because he was hanging on and tipped over with the toy…. so the toy was useless…until we brainstormed, and got it some grips!
